Speaking & Guest Lectures

I give guest lectures, seminars, panel contributions, and podcast and media interviews on Victorian literature, the history of the female detective, crime fiction and empire, and mobility in the nineteenth century. I have given twenty talks in the United Kingdom and India since 2011, and I host the Empire Sleuths podcast. I speak to university and general audiences, in person or online.
